Maggie Doane
Attorney
Maggie currently serves in a high-level legal administrative support role at Hibbeler & Associates while awaiting her bar exam results. Upon admission to the bar, she will transition into a full-time associate attorney position. Maggie’s extensive background in family law—having worked on both the side of the state and Guardian ad Litem—has provided her with a unique dual perspective on handling cases involving abuse and neglect. Her senior capstone project, which involved creating a user-friendly booklet to guide parents through court proceedings, highlights her commitment to demystifying the legal process and making it more accessible.
Maggie’s passion for serving children and families is rooted in her educational background and her realization, inspired by friends in law school, that a legal career would align with her dedication to helping others. She is enthusiastic about bringing her compassion, empathy, and knowledge to her role, ensuring that clients receive both professional and supportive legal representation.
Maggie earned her Juris Doctor from Simmons Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Concordia University Chicago. She has achieved numerous accolades in her military and academic career, including being an Honor Graduate from Air Force Basic Training, Top Graduate and Ace Award recipient from Air Force Technical School, and Airman of the Year for the 182nd Maintenance Group. Her legal education includes Advanced Appellate Moot Court and serving as a Teacher’s Assistant at Simmons Law School, where she has been recognized on the Dean’s List. Maggie’s diverse background and commitment to family law make her a compassionate and effective advocate for clients.
